Brassai photo from Paris by Night (1933), part of a series of photographs of night club goers in Paris of all types, surprisingly lacking in much judgment at all. (Which hurts me to say every time because of all the photo history classes I’ve taken…there is always judgment, but this is seriously minimal.)
